With its sealing system customised for containment and a throughput of up to 150 kg per hour, the WP 150 Pharma is highly suited to compacting and granulation of both standard and potent products. The machine is equipped as standard with the patented Combi-Vent-Feeder, the improved de-aeration capability of which means more raw materials can be processed in a given period, leading to a more efficient and therefore profitable operation. The two-stage granulation in Diagonal-Design increases throughput up to 100%. Beyond that, the vertical arrangement of the rollers of the machine allows for better control of feed flow.
Owing to its modular design, the process parts of the WP 150 Pharma can be almost completely disassembled without special tools. Its cantilever bearing design enables the rollers to be easily replaced and cleaned, which provides efficient and flexible production and product changeover. To ensure a compact design, the machine has a low overall height and the control system is integrated in an external control cabinet. The design and construction are orientated around the strict requirements of the pharmaceutical industry and provide advantages like cGMP design, a consistent separation between process material and technical equipment, a drive shaft sealing system, roller gap measurement and roller gap control. Non-metallic parts are FDA approved.
