Pharmintech 2010, the international exhibition for technology, materials and services for the processing and packaging of pharmaceutical, personal care and nutraceutical products, is scheduled at BolognaFiere, Italy from 12th to 14th May. As many as 27 out of the world’s first 50 pharmaceutical companies by turnover visited the previous edition: Abbott, Amgen, AstraZeneca, Bayer, Baxter, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Eli Lilly, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Lundbeck, Menarini, Merck, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, Ratiopharm, Roche, Sanofi-Aventis, Schering-Plough, Servier, Solvay, Takeda, Teva, UCB, Wyeth. Delegations of industry professionals, journalists and opinion leaders from 22 countries, in particular from Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean Basin, Latin America, Asia and USA have already confirmed their presence. A great international convention dedicated to ‘Designing Quality, Efficiency and Sustainability into Pharmaceutical Processes’ is scheduled for May 11th 2010 – the day before Pharmintech’s official opening. The event is organized by Ipack-Ima, in cooperation with ISPE the world’s biggest association dedicated to all pharmaceutical industry professionals, that included the event in its agenda of official meetings in Italy and PDA the international association dealing with the development, monitoring, quality and regulation of pharmaceutical products and related.
