YSI Fluid Management Technology designed for YSI 7100 MBS uses sensors combined with Multitask Intelligence software to monitor calibration solutions, buffer flush solutions, and sample aspirations. Calibration standard and buffer solution labels are bar-coded for easy entry of information into fluid management software. Shelf life and working life information are continually monitored during operation, messages alert the user when reagents require attention. The 7100 automatically searches for reagent bottle status and if required, automatically switches to the appropriate back-up reagent.
