Packaging provider for the pharmaceutical industry, Bosch Packaging Technology will be presenting new developments for liquid pharmaceuticals at Interpack 2017.

Christian Treitel, head of pharma business development at Bosch Packaging Technology said: “We offer solutions and line concepts – from development and production through to filling, inspection, packaging and services, all featuring exceptionally high flexibility regarding products and packaging types.”
On show at Interpack 2017 will be the company’s pilot fermenter, which is suited for both laboratory and industrial manufacture of pilot batches for cell cultivation.
Bosch will also be showcasing for the first time its ALF 5000 vial version, which is suitable for production-scale filling and closing of liquid pharmaceuticals. The machine is equipped with 100% in-process control and a carrying rake transport system.
The company’s downflow booth will highlight containment and operator safety. To demonstrate the booth’s ability to allow workers to use the space without safety concerns, the downflow booth will be converted into a meeting room for customers.
Speaking about Bosch’s portfolio at Interpack, Christian Treitel said: “We can provide customers with complete line concepts, tailored exactly to their requirements.”
These lines, as the company state can be further extended by adding secondary packaging solutions, as well as platforms and industry 4.0 technologies for serialisation and aggregation.
A comprehensive range of services to improve machine efficiency and productivity will also be displayed, focusing on solutions for preventive maintenance as well as services to eliminate unwanted machine conditions as quickly as possible.
More so, Bosch will demonstrate virtual training concepts enabling manufacturers to acquire demand- oriented know-how for machine operation and maintenance. Bosch will also illustrate how Preventive Maintenance Parts Kits and tailor-made maintenance agreements help to proactively minimise unplanned downtime.
