UK-headquartered healthtech company, Medopad, has been announced as the winner of the Pfizer Healthcare Hub Competition.

Launched in 2017, the Pfizer Healthcare Hub: London helps companies innovating in the healthtech space to realise their potential. It has been designed to help late stage start-ups to grow and reach more patients faster through providing access to Pfizer UK’s global network and resources.
“The Pfizer healthcare hub will be an excellent opportunity for us to partner with another organisation as motivated to transform patient care as Medopad are. Our vision to help people live longer is a big one and we know we will need partners to help us achieve this mission,” explained Alex Gilbert, partnerships at Medopad. “We aim to leverage Pfizer's experience and commitment to the UK healthcare system as well as our technological prowess to further develop the role of digital in the UK healthcare ecosystem. We are especially excited to explore the fields of oncology, rare diseases and neurodegenerative diseases under the guidance of a world-class therapy leader.”

Medopad aims to leverage Pfizer’s network by forging stronger relationships within the healthcare ecosystems and hope this accolade will open up further commercial and clinical opportunities in the therapy areas Pfizer specialises in.
