Pharmaceutical outsourcing services provider, PCI Pharma Services, has now completed its acquisition of Australian based Pharmaceutical Packaging Professionals (PPP).
Acquisition
PCI’s intent to acquire the Australian provider of clinical trial manufacturing, packaging, storage and distribution services was announced last month (February 2018).
This acquisition will allow PCI to offer earlier stage outsourcing services to its customers conducting trials in the Asia Pacific region. Additionally, PCI has revealed that it will establish PPP’s Melbourne offices as the regional headquarters for Asia Pacific, which will be led by the founder of PPP and current senior vice president for PCI Asia Pacific, Craig Rogers.

PPP’s logistical services include storage capability across a range of temperature conditions including controlled room temperature, 2–8˚C, -20˚C, and -80˚C environments, which expands PCI’s existing capabilities in storing, packaging and shipping cold chain products.
