Raumedic, manufacturer of pharmaceutical packaging solutions, has received ISO quality standard certification for its primary packaging options.

The accredited certificate for the ISO standard 15378:2016-3 was presented to Dr Winfried Bernhard, head of quality management at the company earlier this month. This standard defines specific requirements for the internal quality management system for producers of primary pharma packaging.
“Monitored processes and production in the cleanroom help us keep contamination risks to a minimum,” said Bernhard. “As a result of this vigilance, the company can provide its customers with optimal polymer packaging.”
This standard works in combination with good manufacturing practice (GMP) requirements that are applicable to primary packaging in order to ensure products that are packaged continuously meet customer requirements including regulatory requirements and international standards.
