3D portable measurement technologies company, Creaform, has signed an original equipment manufacturing (OEM) agreement with orthotics and prosthetics company, Ottobock HealthCare.

This agreement will expand access and distribution of the Creaform Health Care Partner (HCP) 3D scanner to healthcare providers and service companies in Germany. The scanner will be included in Ottobock’s ‘3D-Design’ system, which is used at its patient-care centres for digital image capture.
“Ottobock took the time to thoroughly test and benchmark our HCP scanner against the other scanners in the market, and chose the HCP as the best technology to go forward with their solution,” explained Peter Warburton, business development manager at Creaform.
