UK contract research organisations team up in Lund, Sweden
The team of CROs travelled to Lund, Sweden to host ‘The changing face of pharmaceutical discovery and development – a collaborative CRO approach’ event in association with the Medicon Valley Alliance.
The event provided an opportunity for life science research companies from Medicon Valley and the wider Nordic region to meet and discuss how collaborative outsourcing can overcome the key scientific challenges within research and development.
Richard Weaver, MD and founder of XenoGesis, said: “This visit to Sweden follows a successful market visit to Copenhagen last year.
“UK CROs have a wealth of specialist expertise and by coming together in this way we are able to offer a collaborative approach which is increasingly appealing to those businesses looking to outsource their drug discovery and development projects.”
The groupsay they are hoping to replicate this event in the UK and overseas in the not too distant future.
