Origin Tracker’s Director, Stuart Corby, completes the line up of speakers at Denny Bros' pharmaceutical open day ‘Pharmaceutical Packaging and Labelling — putting the patient first’, on May 14th, led by keynote speaker, BBC TV’s Dr. Rosemary Leonard.
Stuart will run through the work that firms are undertaking to protect against tainted goods and counterfeits including how they can now execute effective recalls when necessary. Origin Tracker is a technology that is achieved while extending the sales cycle by connecting directly to consumers and leveraging the technology now widely available to everyone through their Smartphones. Consumers use a simple app on their android or iPhone to scan a unique encrypted code that proves the origin of the item they are buying. As well as helping fight counterfeiting, the app is designed to convey information to consumers so they can access and keep records of product details, instructions or other useful information. The technology can prove invaluable where pharmaceutical labelling is concerned, offering peace of mind to both the manufacturer and end-user.
Stuart will join Dr. Leonard and other supporting speakers who include Omar Ali (NHS), Jim Kaye (Atlantic Zeiser), Paul Beamish (Ravenwood Packaging) and Stephen Jarrold (Denny Bros).
