The winners of the 2015 CPhI Pharma Awards have been announced at CPhI Madrid
Seven winners were chosen from 70 entries
The were 16 finalists invited to present their case during the first day of CPhI Worldwide yesterday, and after extensive deliberations, the judges announced the winners during a live ceremony at the event.
The seven winners were:
- TraceLink - Best Innovation in Supply Chain & Logistic Management
- Harro Hoefliger - Best Innovation in Manufacturing Technology (in cooperation with Pharmaceutical Technology)
- Sulzer - Best Innovation in Packaging:
- OMYA International AG - Best Innovation in APIs and Excipients
- Centroflora CMS - Excellence in Partnering & Outsourcing (in cooperation with Pharmaceutical Outsourcing Magazine)
- Catalent - Best Innovation in Process and Formulation Development
- Vivek Sharma, CEO Pharma Solutions, Piramal Enterprises - CEO of the Year (in cooperation with PharmaBoardroom)
Separately, CPhI Worldwide also introduced a special award to Novo Nordisk Pharmatech and Novozymes for the most sustainable stands.
Rita Peters, CPhI jury member and editor of Pharmaceutical Technology USA, said: “On behalf of all the jury panel, I would like to thank the award finalists for their efforts to accelerate the development and manufacture of safe, effective and cost-efficient therapies.
“Today, CPhI recognises technologies, systems and services that present new, innovative options for drug manufacturing, formulation and process developments, APIs and excipients, packaging, supply chain and logistics, and outsourcing.”
